Mackintosh's AW16 Collection was a celebration of classic British style, patterns and tailoring fused with military influences from WWII and the introduction of denim into the brand. Centered around a clean monochromatic color palette with rich tones of camel, bordeaux, bottle green and light navy, the Collection focuses on different forms of tailored outerwear, reworking different versions of the brand's signature rubberised cotton raincoats, which are all waterproof and made in Scotland. Coats, capes and biker jackets were reinforced with British checks, a square block print in shades of black and graphic check patterns in gray.
