Mauve en Mouvement
Following his past seasons of gold and pink, Giorgio Armani dived head deep into mauve for his Spring/Summer 2016 Couture Collection. Titled "Mauve en Mouvement", Armani wanted this collection to defy gravity using weightless silks and delicate organzas that fade naturally to mauve, creating inevitable red-carpet looks.
Slip dresses with embellished tiers of wave-like beading, delicate jackets adorned with ruffles and black sequins shooting downward in a sun ray pattern all help to realize Armani's vision of old world beauty and effortless movement.
