Chanel has unveiled its first-ever watch for men, the Monsieur de Chanel, at Baselworld 2016.
The watch has taken 5 years to make, so it's no wonder that the timepiece is full of minute details and touches. It features a jumping hour and a retrograde minute (meaning the minute hand goes back to zero at the end of each hour), a 40-mm gold casing and 170-piece motor (beautifully showcased in the back).
In total, only 300 pieces have been made: 150 in beige gold and 150 in gold. Being a luxury fine watch, it's no surprise that the French house is pricing these horlogerie pieces at US$48,500 and US$50,800, respectively. Discover more at chanel.com.
