Westminster Graduate Show 2016
Take a look at all the looks from the 16 BA(Hons) Fashion Design graduates of The University of Westminster's class of 2016. The vibrant and eclectic final year collections featured womenswear, menswear, stand-out prints tailoring and eye-catching prints.
From this show, we loved the way Emma Hart played with pastel-colored fabrics and pieced them together as if each look was a painting by Picasso. We also liked Jack Byne's androgynous collection with its clever use of materials, as well as Philip Luu's playfully chic collection of dramatic dresses and coats. Victoria Hopcroft and Christopher Pak's collections showed immense skill and knowledge of fabrics, while Katie McGuigan, Yasmin Cakli and Isabel Brooke's mesmerizing patterns really left us impressed and lost for words.
Andrew Groves, Course Director of the University of Westminster’s BA (Hons) Fashion Design said “With the international fashion industry currently going through a period of change, instability and upheaval, our graduates have shown a variety of different responses to the challenges that this demands. Their collections have demonstrated an incredible mixture of creativity paired with excellent technical skills which offer hope and show where fashion will be heading in the future."
