Must-Try Winter Lipstick Colors

Vancouver – With the holidays right around the corner, we decided to invite singer Carol-Lynn Gee to model several lip colors and brands we believe are quintessential for this winter season.

Cailyn - Love Affair
First up on our list is Love Affair from Cailyn. As winter rolls in, so does the wind, which can get frustrating, especially when it gets in your lip-gloss. Hence, we chose Cailyn for their smooth and light-weight formula that doesn’t get sticky, while retaining the same amount of shine as any other gloss.

Colourpop – Beeper
Trending on social media this year are pigmented matte lips, and Colourpop is easily one of the best choices for you to follow this trend. Starting at just HK$50 per tube, this liquid lipstick makes the perfect pairing for a non-fuss type of gal.

Maybelline – Crazy For Coffee

Those who want to venture into new-color-territory this season should pick up a dark brown. Seeing as how Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kit sold out, here is another alternative to waiting online for a restock. This step isn’t necessary but if you want, you can try fooling that special someone by saying it’s chocolate…

Colourpop – Creature
Another Colourpop shade we’re loving is Creature. A hybrid between brown and oxblood, we find it suits all types of skin tones and is perfect for those who want to explore darker lip shades.

Make Up Forever – Matte Antique Pink
Darker shades aside, we've got Make Up Forever’s Matte Antique Pink for a more girly look. It's got a subtle hue that highlights rosy undertones.

Milani – Teddy Bare

Proven by many celebrities on the red carpet, nudes always provide a special glow. This year, nude has been all the rage. What is difficult though, is finding one that both balances your skin tone and avoids making you look pale or tired.  This is why Rhea took the liberty in finding one that guarantees to work on all skin tones. You’re welcome btw.
